National and International Standards for Motors

National standard code (GB):


General requirements and technical requirements for motor; Gb755-65 basic technical requirements for motors: technical requirements, nameplates and line end marks of various motors; Gb760-65 codes for installation dimensions and overall dimensions of motors, and codes for installation and overall dimensions of various motors.


Ministerial standard (code JB):


Technical requirements, rated data and service conditions of a certain type of motor; Jb742-66 technical conditions of J2 and jo2 series three-phase asynchronous motors; Jb1104-68 specification for Z2 series small DC motors.


Test methods for various motors:


Gb1032-68 test of small and medium-sized three-phase asynchronous motor.


International standards:


Refers to the relevant standards formulated by the international organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The second technical committee of IEC (TC2 for short) is an organization specialized in formulating standards for rotating electrical machines. At present, it has six sub technical committees, which are in charge of steam turbine generator, size and power level, brush, brush holder, commutator and collector ring, test methods and procedures, shell protection, cooling mode and installation, motor insulation classification, etc.
