Common sense of energy conservation and emission reduction.

1. Use energy-saving methods to wash clothes.

(1) wash clothes once a month. Each washing machine can save about 1.4 kg of standard coal per year, and the corresponding carbon dioxide emission is 3.6 kg. If the country's 190 million washing machines are used less than once a month, it can save about 260, 000 tons of standard coal a year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 684, 000 tons.

(2) less than one kilogram of washing powder per year. Washing powder is a necessity of life, reasonable use, can save energy and reduce emission. For example, less than 1 kilogram of washing powder can save about 0.28 kg of standard coal and 0.72 kg of carbon dioxide. If the national average of 390 million households is less than 1 kilogram of washing powder per household per year, it can save about 109,000 tons of standard coal in a year, and reduce co2 emissions by 281,000 tons.

(3) choose an energy-saving washing machine. Energy-saving washing machines are 50% more efficient than ordinary washing machines and 60% water-saving. Each energy-saving washing machine can save about 3.7 kg of standard coal per year, and the corresponding carbon dioxide emission is 9.4 kg. If 10% of ordinary washing machines in the country are updated every year as energy-saving washing machines, about 70,000 tons of standard coal will be saved each year and 178,000 tons of carbon dioxide will be reduced.

2. Reduce food waste

Less waste of 0.5kg of grain (for example, rice) could save about 0.18 kg of standard coal and 0.47 kg of carbon dioxide. If the national average is to reduce food waste by 0.5kg per year, it can save about 241,000 tons of standard coal per year and reduce co2 emissions by 612,000 tons.

3. Reduce waste of livestock products.

Each person wastes 0.5kg of pork a year, which can save about 0.28kg of standard coal and 0.7kg of carbon dioxide. If the national average is to reduce pork waste by 0.5kg per year, it will save about 353,000 tons of standard coal per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 911,000 tons.

4. Drink in moderation

(1) cut down on a bottle of beer a month during the summer. In the three months of the summer, the average monthly consumption of l bottle is less than that of l, and the l person can save about 0.23 kg of standard coal in one year, and the corresponding carbon dioxide emission is 0.6kg. Nationwide, it can save about 297,000 tons of standard coal per year, and reduce co2 emissions by 780,000 tons.

(2) drink less than 0.5kg of white wine per year. If one person drinks 0.5 kg in a young age, it can save about 0.4kg of standard coal and reduce co2 by 1 kg. If the country's 200 million "drinkers" consume an average of 0.5 kg less each year, they can save about 80,000 tons of standard coal and reduce co2 emissions by 200,000 tons per year.

5. Reducing smoking

One cigarette a day, each person can save about 0.14 kg of standard coal each year, and the corresponding carbon dioxide emission is 0.37 kg. If the country's 350 million smokers do so, it will save about 50,000 tons of standard coal a year and reduce co2 emissions by 130,000 tons.
